Let's Get Vulnerable!

A friend of mine shared this video with me and I found it to be very profound. Like most of you, I don't enjoy being vulnerable, but it really is the key to unlocking real joy in life. For my LDS friends, ideas about opposition in all things will resonate.

I especially enjoyed her ideas on scarcity and being extraordinary. In the ordinary moments is where our greatest joy is found. Hope you enjoy and find some inspiration from this.

I have to admit that I had a hard time getting into this clip, but later on I really enjoyed the thoughts about treasuring the ordinary moments in our lives and truly being grateful for the little things. I find that at times when I feel depressed that thinking of things I am thankful for chemically seems to help my brain and helps me to shift into a more positive attitude. Thank you.

I watched this the other day and really enjoyed it.

I think it could be subtitled "By small and simple things" or "the greatest work you will ever do will be within the walls of your own home" or "cultivate an attitude of gratitude."

I'm glad to see eternal truths taught at TED.

By the way, I definitely agree with the concept: If we want to be happy, we must become vulnerable. If I want to draw closer to God, I must open my heart to Him and subject myself to potential chastisement and refinement in the furnace of affliction. Only then can the true metallurgy take effect.
